Political leaders can also play a crucial role by condemning extremist rhetoric and actions, and implementing policies that promote social cohesion and unity. **

Left-wing extremism is often seen as less condemned than right-wing extremism because of the perception that left-wing ideologies are more aligned with social justice and equality. This can lead to a reluctance to fully condemn left-wing extremism, as it may be seen as fighting for a noble cause. Additionally, there may be a tendency to downplay the actions of left-wing extremists in comparison to the more widely recognized and condemned actions of right-wing extremists. Furthermore, political and social biases can also play a role in the differing levels of condemnation between the two ideologies. **
